ST. PATRICK’S DAY BRACELETS

The Hartford St. Patrick’s Day parade is next weekend!   It steps off from the State Capitol at 11am on Saturday March 14th.

This year you can help support the parade with a bracelet made by Sylvia Guinan.  They are made from emerald green and clear cracked crystal.

The parade costs thousands of dollars to put on every year and these bracelets could make a great gift.   Here’s how you can order them, you can email:

  teri@sylviasstyle.com

The single strand bracelet is $40 and the double strand is $60.   The proceeds go to the Central Connecticut Celtic Committee which puts on the St. Patrick’s Day parade.  See bracelet photos of single strand above on the left and double strand to the right.

  1. It makes me sick seeing the cost of putting on this parade. The thousands of dollars should and could be used for many things other than a parade!
I beleive it was a couple of years ago, I was watching the channel 3 news about the parade, they were asking for donations for the parade. The very next story showed about 20 people standing around a fire in a drum of sorts , trying to stay warm as they were homeless and had no place to go.
Maybe the money could be spent on helping the homeless, what do you think?
