With two babies, I have found and I’ve always been told that keeping them on a pretty strict schedule is the only way to stay sane and keep everything together. They are now at the stage where they are supposed to be moving from taking two naps a day to one nap. It is a big adjustment for them. They always wake up refreshed and much happier after a nap. It got me thinking wouldn’t it be nice if we all could just schedule even one nap a day into our lives? A siesta, or even just a moment of quiet. Ahh yes. In these days, when we seem to be fitting in more work, more errands, more phone calls and more texting conversations than ever before, I wonder if the days of taking a moment of quiet or a nap are over?
